Cynical Existence is a solo project from founder and lead vocalist of the aggrotech/industrial act Project Rotten and also former vocalist of dark electro/industrial act Menschdefekt.
What started out as a experiment soon took form as a real musical project.
The goal was to create something more close to “old school†harsh ebm and industrial with a more personal touch and emotions infused into it. It’s simple and yet powerful and doesn’t intend to create something new and unique, just something personal.
Influenced by bands like SITD,Suicide Commando and Grendel amongst others
The aim isn’t just towards dance floors but also to create a variety of tracks which offers different moods and emotions. The only common thing that the tracks reflect are Fredrik’s feelings and thoughts.
Engraved Ritual is a guerilla record label partnership dedicated to bringing the best in gritty, harsh, brutal dark electro from all over the world to the masses; with a huge emphasis on the Latin American sound. Currently located in Denver, Colorado, we are dedicated to showing that the physical album format still has value while working with the latest trends of getting music to the people.
