:Music News: Destruction Time Again (The 40hour ROCK Challenge)

All tracks were written in the 40hours between midnight Friday June 18 and 4pm Sunday June 20.

It started as an entry ZooG Von Rock (Angelspit) made on his Facebook:

“I’m tired of making excuses and not making music.
…SO, I’m challenging myself to write one MOTHER-F#CKING ANTHEM of anger directed at the complacency and apathy i see in this city, this scene and in ME.
I invite you to join me.
THIS WEEKEND WE ROCK!”

WHO: You, me, and every other punk/industrial/whatever musician who is bored
WHAT: You will write one song this weekend expressing your feelings towards a world that is falling asleep.
WHEN: You start at midnight on Friday night (June18, 2010). You will complete the track by 4pm on Sunday. You will complete this task using ANY MEANS NECESSARY. You will sample, pillage, drink, and whatever else it takes for you to write a DEADLY track in the assigned time.
