The duo of Nysrok Infernalien and Nightstalker were brought together by their mutual interest in Jam Montoya, BDSM, drugs and the concept of putting this all together and sonically challenging their audience. With a string of four full-length releases, two EPs and appearances on several compilations, it seems their audience’s thirst for what AV terms “Obscene Industrial” and “Evil Body Music” is strong. Their latest EP, Clubbers Die Younger should keep their audience satiated.
The EP contains four new songs, “Harsh & Rotten”, “Clubbers Die Younger”, “Acid Orgy” and “Dark Skies”, which should please their fans, and also contains plenty of remixes, which should please DJs who are always looking for new options to spin. While they aren’t breaking any new ground with this release, the tracks are strong with powerful beats, harsh synths and plenty of the terror EBM vocals Nysrok has done plenty to popularize.
“Harsh & Rotten” has a very nice glitchy intro before a strong beat takes over and carries the song forward. The title track doesn’t take long to start kicking your ass and making you want to move. “Acid Orgy”, with seductive appearance from Sonya Scarlet of Italian Black Metal outfit Theatres des Vampires, provides plenty of danceable loops and harsh accents. The final new track on the EP, “Dark Skies” it my personal favorite with plenty of layers, an incredibly dominate beat and some nice sci-fi vocal samples. Following are remixes from W.A.S.T.E., C-Lekktor, Amduscia and Chainreactor.
I really enjoyed the tracks and overall, Clubbers Die Younger is another quality release from the Italian/British combo and has this reviewer looking forward to their next full-length album.
