:News: Lords of Acid Complete Recording of New Album

Praga Khan, force behind the Belgian-American post-industrial/techno band Lords of Acid has announced that recording of their upcoming album was completed today, Tuesday, October 4, 2011. The album is expected to be released in February 2012 and is the first full length album from the group since 2000′s Farstucker. The Lords of Acid released their first original material, the Little Mighty Rabbit EP, on Metropolis Records on September 27, 2011.

In Praga’s own words:  “Today we wrapped up the recordings for the forthcoming Lords of Acid album. The new record will be released in February 2012. Spread the word. Hallelujah. Repost! Retweet! Praise the Lords.”

When a band finishes a new album they’re really inspired by, they generally want to tour and share that inspiration with their fans. Ever marching to their own beat, Lords of Acid have done it the other way around. Founder Pragha Khan took inspiration from the adoration of fans during a recent tour and headed back into the studio to give us something new. September 27, 2011 brings us the Little Mighty Rabbit EP, the first new release from LOA in just over a decade and precursor to a forthcoming full length album. (more…)
