HexRx
October 21, 2011
Tucson, Arizona, US @ The Surly Wench

On the evening of Friday October 21, 2011 half of the Phoenix COMA crew headed to Tucson to endure the madness that is HexRx. The last time we saw HexRx was at the famous Sadisco* Fight Club a few months prior but this would be the first time master commander J would witness the madness on stage. (Rumor has it that a new album should be released soon but to be honest I do not have the details and this
writer didn’t give herself enough time to ask questions or research so just buy it when it comes out.)

Anyway, on with show. The lights dimmed down on The Surely Wench stage as the alcohol continued to enter my mouth. Roger Jarvis, who IS HexRx, walked on stage followed by Daemon Noir who is on keys and vocals, and surprisingly Mike Jenney from Alter Der Ruine planted himself behind the drums. The COMA crew was excited to see Mike with HexRx because we thought he was drumming for Assemblage 23, who we saw in Tucson a few months back. Alas, Mike was not drumming for Assemblage23 and we were disappointed (sad face). (more…)
